As a little girl growing up in Washington, D.C., my father taught me to kneel at my bed every night and say the Lord’s prayer. This was my first lesson about a loving heavenly Father, who would graciously hear our prayers and faithfully answer us.

Decades later, what my Daddy taught me as a child is still very much a part of my life as an adult. Prayer has been a constant source of immeasurable peace, a lifeline that over the years has kept me connected to God, no matter what has come my way. Prayer has been the foundation upon which every hope and dream has been built upon. It is what enables us to share the love of God with unbridled joy and generosity. It is why New Thing Ministries exist to share the Word of God and to encourage all.

Now, it is my desire to help others experience the abiding presence of God that comes from an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. As tough as life can be, there is a powerful resource available to us, if we just take the time to “know and learn” because I have certainly discovered Father Knows Best!
